We all know that performing well in interviews is crucial to landing that dream job with a multinational company or domestic company with strong business overseas. Confidence in presenting yourself is a necessary skillset in today’s competitive landscape. Doing it in English is an even greater challenge.

I was amazed when I met many students in Asia who thought the interview was a place to talk about how great they were and what the prospective company could do for them. When the labor market was very tight in the 1990s they could get away with this type of mindset. but not anymore.

Teacher Jason has taught me for six months and has helped me greatly in my career. I work for a Danish company in Taiwan and regularly write emails and have regular phone calls and ZOOM meetings in English. We review my old emails every week. Jason shows me my errors and explains how I made the error. His knowledge of Mandarin is very useful in finding the cause of the error.
